“BUFF TO BUILD NUMBER ONE” is a collaborative initiative between TO BE NUMBER ONE and Collegiate Esports and Youth Development Association (CEYDA), based on the concept of “Sandbox Learning”—a safe, experimental learning space. The program aims to provide youth with hands-on learning experiences that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork in a supportive and developmental environment.
The initiative includes the following key activities:
• ESPORTS YOUTH & EDUCATION TOUR – Promotes knowledge and positive attitudes toward esports in educational institutions.
• RESPONSIBLE GAMING – Campaigns for responsible and balanced gaming habits.
• ESPORTS ACADEMY – Provides structured development paths for youth to pursue professional careers in esports.
• TO BE NUMBER ONE ESPORTS CLUB – Supports creative esports activities as a way to stay away from drugs.
• RoV PRO LEAGUE Team – Organizes esports competitions from school level to professional level.
• ESPORTS LAB – A standardized space for esports training and learning in various dimensions.
Collegiate Esports and Youth Development Association (CEYDA), in collaboration with CTRL G and professionals from the esports industry — including pro players, streamers, casters, and coaches. — launched the Esports Youth & Education Tour.
The tour travels to universities across Thailand to help drive the growth of the Thai esports industry. It supports youth and individuals interested in esports by providing knowledge, career guidance, and education related specifically to the esports ecosystem. The program aims to prepare young gamers to become skilled professionals in the industry — both as players and in other related careers.
CEYDA, together with partner organizations, organizes educational esports tournaments — starting with the officially licensed VALORANT U-Champion tournament, supported by Riot Games and hosted by CEYDA. The initiative has since expanded to include League of Legends U-Champion, with over 32 universities having signed MOUs to join the program.
The project aims to support the growth of Thailand’s esports industry by giving students a platform to step into the professional world — either as players or in other esports-related roles. This tournament acts as a sandbox for students to gain real-world experience and develop skills necessary for their future careers in esports.
CEYDA has partnered with Mahidol University to develop two educational programs designed to nurture youth potential. The first is the VALORANT Esports Program, focused on building skills relevant to the esports world — including teamwork, industry knowledge, content creation, and player development. Classes are led by experts from across the industry, such as pro players, streamers, and coaches.
The second is STEAM Coding & Education through Roblox, created for children aged 7–12. This course blends science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) through game development in Roblox, encouraging creativity and coding skills. Both programs offer hands-on learning alongside theoretical foundations.
The Esports Lab project focuses on creating modern, well-equipped esports classrooms to support learning within the formal education system. These labs are designed to help students build essential skills, engage with the industry creatively, and prepare for sustainable futures in the world of esports.
